ADVANCED INSPECTORATE

Frequently Asked Questions

Verification, validity periods, accreditation and inspection — answered plainly, the way they actually work in the Kingdom.

Verifying a card

How do I verify a safety training card in Saudi Arabia?

Scan the QR code printed on the card, or type the card number into https://advancedinspectorate.com/verify. For cards issued by Advanced Inspectorate Company the page returns the holder's name, the course, the issue and expiry dates, and a live status of VALID, EXPIRED or REVOKED read directly from the issuing registry. A card that cannot be verified against the issuer's own registry should not be accepted at a gate.

What does an Advanced Inspectorate card number look like?

Card numbers are formatted ADV-YYYY-NNNNN, for example ADV-2026-67010, where YYYY is the year of issue and NNNNN is a unique sequential number. The verification page also accepts the number on its own without the prefix.

How can I tell if a Saudi safety training card is fake?

Check it against the issuer's own online registry rather than the card itself. A forged card can copy any logo, photo or hologram, but it cannot create a matching record in the issuer's database. Scan the QR code and confirm that the name, ID number, course and photo on the screen match the card and the person holding it. If the QR code goes to a page that simply says 'valid' without showing the holder's details, that is not verification.

Validity and renewal

How long is a safety training card valid in Saudi Arabia?

There is no single Saudi statute fixing one validity period for all safety training. Validity is set by the course and the client's site rules. Advanced Inspectorate issues most awareness and operator cards for 12 months, and 24 months for work at height, all rigger levels, banksman, scaffolding and inspection courses, because the Saudi Aramco Construction Safety Manual requires those to be valid for two years.

How long is a rigger certificate valid on an Aramco site?

Two years. The Saudi Aramco Construction Safety Manual requires riggers to carry their rigger certificate and sets its validity at two years. Advanced Inspectorate issues rigger cards at all three levels with 24-month validity for that reason.

What happens when a training card expires?

The verification page flips to EXPIRED automatically on the day after the expiry date, and the holder needs reassessment rather than a paperwork renewal. Reassessment means sitting the practical and written assessment again, so a renewed card reflects current competence rather than a past course date.

What the card is

Is a safety training card a government licence in Saudi Arabia?

No. A third-party training card certifies that its holder completed training and passed an assessment with the issuing body. It is not issued by a government authority and does not replace a government operating licence, a site induction, or any statutory permit. Advanced Inspectorate prints 'THIS IS NOT A GOVERNMENT LICENSE' on the back of every card it issues.

What is the difference between a training card and an operator licence?

A training card records assessed competence in a task and is issued by a training provider. An operator licence is a legal permission issued by a government authority. A forklift operator on a Saudi site typically needs both: the licence to be legally permitted, and the card to satisfy the contractor's or client's competence requirement at the gate.

Accreditation

Which accreditations does Advanced Inspectorate hold?

Advanced Inspectorate Company is an IQ-OHS Authorised Training Provider, a Highfield Qualifications International Approved Centre, an IPAF Approved MEWP Training Centre, a LEEA Accredited Training Company, an IADC member, and a SASO-notified Conformity Assessment Body for inspection activity. Course cards carry the marks of the scheme body relevant to that course, and no others.

Why does a training card show accreditation logos?

The logos tell a site gate which independent bodies stand behind the training. A card should only display the marks the issuer genuinely holds and that are relevant to the course on that card. Advanced Inspectorate limits each card to at most five marks and never prints an accreditation body and a certification body together, because showing both implies an accreditation relationship that may not exist.

Training delivery

Can safety training be delivered at our site in Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Training and assessment can be delivered at your site anywhere in the Kingdom, or at our facility in Jubail Industrial City, in English or Arabic. On-site delivery is normal for operator assessments because candidates are assessed on the machines they actually use.

Which cities does Advanced Inspectorate cover?

The whole Kingdom, working from Jubail Industrial City in the Eastern Province. Regular coverage includes Jubail, Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran, Ras Tanura, Riyadh, Yanbu and Jeddah.

How many workers can you train at once?

Class size depends on the course. Practical operator assessments run in small groups so each candidate gets machine time, while awareness courses take larger cohorts. Tell us the headcount and the courses and we will size the programme around your shutdown or mobilisation window.

Inspection

What does a third-party equipment inspection cover in Saudi Arabia?

A third-party inspection is a documented examination of the equipment by an independent body, ending in a certificate and a durable identification on the machine. For lifting equipment it covers structural condition, safety devices, controls, and where required a load test, and the certificate records the examiner, the date and the next due date.

How often must lifting equipment be inspected?

Interval follows what the equipment does. Equipment that lifts people or forms part of a lifting assembly is examined more often than general plant, which is commonly annual. Advanced Inspectorate publishes the intervals it works to in its insights section, and prints the next-due date on every certificate it issues.
