Wire Rope Sling

Every 6 months

Wire rope slings examined every six months against ISO 4309 discard criteria and re-tagged with the current colour code.

Webbing / Round Sling

Every 6 months

Polyester flat and round slings examined for cuts, abrasion, UV damage and label legibility, then colour coded.

Chain Sling

Grade 80 and 100 chain slings measured for elongation and wear, with master link and hook examination.

Bow and dee shackles examined for body and pin wear, correct matched assembly and legible WLL marking.

Eyebolts and swivel hoist rings examined for thread condition, seating and rated angular loading.

Magnetic and vacuum lifters tested for holding force with back-up power and alarm verification.
